It’s one of the main things my father and I have in common (music) and brings back the fondest of memories and gives us plenty of things to talk about. I still rock out to Journey on a regular basis and would love to continue the tradition with my son!

posted on 5:30 pm on 6/30/10I love Journey because it reminds me of growing up and riding in my dads car. Such positive and uplifting music and I think the lullaby renditions of Journey will be a great way to introduce to one of the great rock bands to my 2 year old son.

I anticipated what was to come and lived in the moment. Journeys songs like others of that time were heartfelt and attention grabbing. I couldn’t wait to see the Videos on MTV!

posted on 6:33 am on 7/1/10I’ve loved Journey ever since I saw the movie Monster, with Oscar winner Charlize Theron as serial killer Aileen Wuornos. The use of “Don’t Stop Believing” during the roller skating love scene was effective and just downright radical.
posted on 6:58 am on 7/1/10I was very excited to hear about the Journey Rockabye baby cd, especially since it reminds me of my teen years. These cds are so much more hip than traditional baby lullaby cds….and I have the hippest 13 month around!
My 13 month old has been a Rockabye baby since he came home from the hospital at 4 days old. We own 7 different cds. It’s actually as much for me as for him, as I love listening to the music as I rock him to sleep each night. These cds have become my favorite baby shower gift, and I always get a smile and excited reaction from the mommy to be and other guest- many have never heard of this and think it is so cool!
Thank you for the GREAT lullaby cds. I know my son is going to enjoy them for years, so keep them coming!!!!

I love Journey any which way I can get them! I’ve seen them live and that was awesome! I love how “Glee” has brought them back. My Son, Jackson (9months), and I rock out to Journey when we’re driving. He loves Journey too! I can’t wait to hear how the lullabies sound! Amazing I’m sure

Everyone should love Journey if you ask me. Consummate musicians with an incredible sense of harmony, led by the legendary Neal Schon – a guitarist who is second to none, the band has survived lineup changes that would have proved disastrous for a lesser group but each addition has only proved to make them stronger as a whole. You’d be hard pressed to find a better keyboardist than Jon Cain, but his true gift is his gift of song writing, which really elevated Journey to a whole new plateau. Long time bassist Ross Valory and drummer Deen Castronovo form the rock steady rhythm section that hold the entire group together. And when you’ve got a band with so many talented personalities fighting for the spotlight – you need a solid rhythm section. Graced by a series of vocalists that are second to none, from Robert Fleischman to the one and only Steve Perry, Kevin Chalfant, Steve Augeri, Jeff Scott Soto, and now the unbelievable Arnel Pineda, Journey’s signature sound continues to soar after 3 decades.
So why do I love Journey? Because at every turn in the road, Journey’s been my touchstone in life. Their songs on the radio have kept my spirit high and have made my soul sing since the 70’s. They were the first concert my wife ever attended, and their music became the musical DNA of our life together. “With Your Love” from their Arrival cd was the first song we danced to as man and wife. “Don’t Stop Believin” became more than a song for us, it’s a call to arms, our rallying cry when times get tough. No matter what – we always have each other, our love and Journey to see us through.
Journey has become our eldest daughter’s favorite band, and their music makes our 13 month old dance. Truly – Journey is a tradition in our family, and their music courses through our veins.
There are a million reasons why I love Journey, but at the end of the day, they continue to remind me of all the love I’ve been blessed with in my life, and hearing their music still makes me smile “After All These Years”
Thanks for listening, and also for creating this Lullaby cd of Journey’s music. I’m practically giddy over the idea that now, our baby can fall asleep every night to the music she loves so much.

I know she’s always eyed this compilation ever since we started purchasing Rockabye Baby discs so this would be a tremendous birthday gift for her.
posted on 6:28 am on 7/7/10I absolutely love Journey…some people say i am too young to listen to Journey but my older brothers always listened to them and as a kid i always sang along to the songs and now as an adult i have passed that love down to my children and want to continue it. I think Journey has great music, melodies and lyrics…they are definitely a timeless and ageless sound that i never get tired of…my favorite song is seperate ways and my daughter always laughs at me when i sing it out loud drammatically in the car for her…

posted on 10:33 am on 7/7/10Journey has always been a part of the soundtrack of my life. I have such great peaceful memories of childhood with them playing in the background. The other day I found a Journey’s Greatest Hits cassette at a garage sale for 25cents. I quickly bought it and put it into my mini-vans tape player. Now my six year old sings along to every song. I am glad my children are making memories with the songs too.

My Father and I listen to them together all the time (he brought me up RIGHT) i am 28 and i have actually seen them 3 times in concert. my only thing wrong with that is that i have not been able to see them with Steve Perry, but i know that one day that will happen and no matter how much money or how far away they will be i will drag my dad there and we will have a BLAST!!! i have a 3 y/o son who knows that mommies favorite band is Journey and when they come on the radio he can pick them out b/c i make him listen to them so much. my favorite memory is when i was in High School and my dad and i set up the video camera and sang Karaoke in the living room to Journey when we were supposed to be doing the laundry and my mom couldn’t fuss us b/c it was so funny, we tried it again the next day but it didn’t work…

She pulled up to our house and heard “Dont Stop Believing” blaring throughout the house. She opened the door and she saw my brother singing the song at the top of his lungs. he was wearing a blanket for a cape and parading across the house. He was 10 at the time. Anyway thats why i love journey.

But no joke, sometimes Journey was the only thing that would put Ev to sleep in the early days. It was weird – we’d be listening to other music, wide awake, and as soon as Journey came on (classic or newer – didn’t matter) he was fast asleep. I don’t know if it was the voice or what. I would love to have the CD not only for the actual lullabies but also to commemorate that time in his life when it was the only thing he would sleep to.

When me and my now fiance whent on a camping trip with a few friends and in the evening we stayed behind at the camp site while they decides to take a walk. Camp fire going and Journey playing on his lap top, we rocked out laughs and danced in the moonlight. He told me he had his three favorite things with him. A good camp fire, Journey and his girl. I would love to have this in my collection and if one day lwe are blessed with the potter patter of small feet…I want this playing for them. Journey rocks my world!
