Pamela Brill, a professional magazine journalist, has been writing about parenting and children’s issues for over a decade. Before she began her freelance writing career, she served at the helm of two children’s industry publications: Small World, which specialized in baby products, and Playthings, a toy trade for which she was managing editor. Today, she manages a freelance writing business whose clients include national and regional magazines and Web sites, and is also an editor at large for Playthings magazine. When she is not blogging about new baby and children’s products for her own site, www.talkingwalnut.com , she is busily reporting on the latest trend or hotly debated child development issue. Keith Winton spends much of his time wading through vintage vinyl and celluloid. If not skipping school to make a mid week double feature over at the New Beverly Cinema, he may be helping his teenager practice piano or karate. Keith has lived up and down the coast of California, but he and Mrs. Winton have called Pasadena home for the past 7 years.

Lorelei Hill Butters
Lorelei Hill Butters is a first-time mommy who waited until she was good and ready to have a child (translation: late thirties). Before settling into the full-time role of mom, Lorelei worked in production in front of and behind the scenes. Her latest work being that of the voice of Ariel’s mother, Queen Athena in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Ariel’s Beginning. Lorelei lives in the hills of Glendale, California with her baby girl Julia and husband Darrin.

K. Thor Jensen
K. Thor Jensen is a lifelong music fan, and is passing that love on to his son Henry, who counts among his favorite bands Manu Dibango, Goblin and Bob Dylan. Thor played bass guitar for cult NYC pop-punk band Music For Girls before moving to a small island off the coast of Washington, where he writes, draws, makes music, raises his kid, and fits everything else in between.
