Earlier this week, we asked fans which full-length track they wanted to hear off of our upcoming release of Lullaby Renditions of Dave Matthews Band. We’ve tallied all the votes and although the race was close, we have our winner!
For its latest release, Rockabye Baby weaves the triple-platinum UK synth-pop group’s moody, trance-like tunes into a warm blanket of glockenspiel, vibraphone and bells. The brooding quality of Depeche Mode classics like “Personal Jesus” or “Enjoy The Silence” now rings gently but on all 12 of these DM lullabies, the trademark melodies are untouched. Its as though Rockabye Baby invented acoustic synth-pop!
