Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Tool

my husband is a hugh tool fan. when i saw this cd i though what a perfect father's day gift for him. I am sure that he will love it as much as everyone else. thanks for the reviews it made buying the ds worth it!

The musicians who perform this album are excellent and it is a great portrayal of Tool's music overall. Kids and adults can appreciate this!

We were given several of the Rockabye Baby! albums when our first child was born, and immediately fell in love with them. When i found the TOOL album, I had to have it. Now we have two kids and when they get tired and cranky in the car, my wife tells me to "bring out the big guns", which is our nickname for this album because it almost immediately calms them. By the third track, they are usually sleeping soundly. By far my personal favorite of the 7 Rockabye Baby! albums we own.

Rockabye Baby focuses on Tool's music and challenges the band's heavy rockness for some serious changes, Hopefully the Pearl Jam album is out in December

As a die-hard Tool fan, I thought that I had found greatness when I discovered the Vitamin String Quartet's renditions, but this takes the cake! My son-on-the-way will be singing with Maynard before long!

I bought this CD in 2007 because I am a diehard Tool fan and I loved listening to it. Now I actually have a 5 month old daughter who seems to love it just as much as me. We fall asleep together with it!

This CD does the justice that Tool deserves. It highlights the band's talent for unique time changes and the truly gifted works they create. Even with the lyrics removed, anyone with a love of music can hear the complexity and depth of the songs in this paradoxically mellow, halcyon mix. My daughter--who never otherwise sits still--lies down each night peacefully and enjoys the CD until she falls into slumber. (I love it, too!)

This CD is amazing, the temp is slower then the originals (obviously) but the tones that they produce with the instruments they are using are perfect renditions. I was a skeptic when I initially ordered it, but now I'm a believer...never mind the kid I'm keeping this one for myself!
