As you all know, (well, maybe you don't but you will now!) I am a
HUGE George Harrison fan. He's been my favorite Beatle since I was
a kid, and he'll very likely remain my favorite for a very long time . . .
George would be celebrating his 71st birthday today.
Actually, it's a little known fact/rumor that George was born just a few minutes before midnight on February 24. For the majority of his life, he celebrated his birthday on February 25 but after uncovering the news in family records, he switched to celebrating on the 24th. The rumor has been debunked and re-bunked time and time again but for now we'll just stick to celebrating his birthday on February 25.
