Journey is my favorite band in the world. i have even talked my boyfriend into naming our next child Journey. My Father and I listen to them together all the time (he brought me up RIGHT) i am 28 and i have actually seen them 3 times in concert. my only thing wrong with that is that i have not been able to see them with Steve Perry, but i know that one day that will happen and no matter how much money or how far away they will be i will drag my dad there and we will have a BLAST!!! i have a 3 y/o son who knows that mommies favorite band is Journey and when they come on the radio he can pick them out b/c i make him listen to them so much. my favorite memory is when i was in High School and my dad and i set up the video camera and sang Karaoke in the living room to Journey when we were supposed to be doing the laundry and my mom couldn’t fuss us b/c it was so funny, we tried it again the next day but it didn’t work…

I love journey because every time i hear “Dont Stop Believing” I remember a story that my mom told me. She pulled up to our house and heard “Dont Stop Believing” blaring throughout the house. She opened the door and she saw my brother singing the song at the top of his lungs. he was wearing a blanket for a cape and parading across the house. He was 10 at the time. Anyway thats why i love journey. ;)

I love Journey because they put my baby to sleep! Well, I loved Journey before that too. But no joke, sometimes Journey was the only thing that would put Ev to sleep in the early days. It was weird – we’d be listening to other music, wide awake, and as soon as Journey came on (classic or newer – didn’t matter) he was fast asleep. I don’t know if it was the voice or what. I would love to have the CD not only for the actual lullabies but also to commemorate that time in his life when it was the only thing he would sleep to. :)

Honestly its the music I fell in love with to. I had always loved Journey before but it now holds a special meaning. When me and my now fiance whent on a camping trip with a few friends and in the evening we stayed behind at the camp site while they decides to take a walk. Camp fire going and Journey playing on his lap top, we rocked out laughs and danced in the moonlight. He told me he had his three favorite things with him. A good camp fire, Journey and his girl. I would love to have this in my collection and if one day lwe are blessed with the potter patter of small feet…I want this playing for them. Journey rocks my world!

My wife and I were introduced at our wedding to Journeys Separate Ways and we ended the night with Dont Stop Believing.
We cant wait to share Journey with our son.
